Old war ways are still the best way...to fight a war!

Again the analysts of Studies of Peace and Conflicts can all criticize me, but they must assume, one or another time, admit that old conflicts still rule the war, specially the ones with human presence and also contractors.

Mercenarism is always a common practice in conflicts and hire soldiers has two sizes, but the most important is that, they don't have a part always in conflict. The second part is that, many of them do because they want, they do for love, for live, and it's sometimes more important that a tactical group, part of a government.

Local militias always train people to join conflicts with nation's enemies, some problems is that, many of them don't have the government contract, this lack of support sometimes exempt the government of risks, economically and socially, or morally saying, they can simply say that it wasn't a national war, was local guys, mercenaries... but they always take advantages on militia contractors.

Well, a part of any conflict that solve the problems are the mercenaries, that has no moral or ethical measures, in a war they join the total part of the conflict, and in general they are less lethal for civilians than national armies.
They search in local population supporters that are trying to free from terrorists or gerrilla warfare groups, and this grographical support and information are important, that sometimes national armies hard can have.
It was seem in the Asymmetric Warfare Group in Afganistan and Iraq, the great work they did finding in local people supporters.

Anyway, in history, all the times, mercenaries were friendly, Denard, Steiner, Barlow, always searched the best way to be in familiar with local groups of civilians and armies.

USA militias were always active in society, like Armed Patriots, other security groups and private military contractors in favour of government.

I also can link that Mercenarism changed the modern warfare, with national armies. The public armies are in focus of Special Operations. The other expertices are back in private military personel together military support, like logistics, escort, intelligence, even black ops and tactical assault, are done by new mercenaries.

Mercenarism changed the face, not as in the past. Modern or Corporate Mercenaries are involved in business and other services that is not really the combat.

I am not saying that new mercenaries has no feeling for nations or identity, just saying that there has more capability to join a personal need in private firms, not like in the past, that old veterans had love for the adventure and were really war dogs.

But here the focus is the illegal operation and the international legislation on confront between terrorist groups and legal mechanisms, those who can be cheated by contracts.
It's more and more common tactical training for civilians, active shooting, PSD and PMC courses offered by companies that are able to contract people and send them to operate together military and governamentl persnel, as protection services, logistics, etc.

American mercenary groups have been training and preparing to join the fight against the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) abroad, looking to push back the extremists where they say that the US government has failed. Maria Finoshina reports from Homestead, Florida on a group of private mercenary fighters who are organizing to support people facing the threat of ISIS in the Philippines, and explores their motivations in depth.
