Hardpower tenstioned the relations - Russia once advised

What happaned one year after it, is that Guaidó lost most of his support inside the country, by other side Maduro has difficulty to governs as the congress is mostly opposition to him. The fight for power became a new problematic that makes the country break over the development of the social and democratic bias to govern.

Guaidó must implement a new bias of government, focused on open market and exportation, investing in private sector, but Maduro keeps trying to centralize the whole power and economy under his command.

The intern fighter counts on military acting as constitutional obligation, following the orders of the chief commander president Maduro, and illegal militias that works shadowy to support government. Other side has ex-military commanders and battalions in a joint for Guaidó, creating a civil war in country.

Under this chaotic perspective, even with problems, Maduro keeps at power and made a decision for Trump retire the interest on invasion, after the perception that Maduro is legally exercising power, also with Russian support at Maduro's legality.

With this civil war, economy goes to bankrupt and society keeps under the difficulty because of the increasing inflation in prices and general market.

Recently an uprising against Guaidó showed that the ballance of power is favorable to Maduro, the chief executive of country. But the characterizing of the conflict is the proxy that Venezuela became after the USA took the decision on invade Venezuela and remove Maduro from the presidency and put Guaidó as the chief commander of country.

By other side, to protect the legality of ellection, fraudulent or not, the Russia showed the power demonstration to support the legitimacy of government, in order to promote an imbalance of power, making USA regret at its decision.

During the proxy conflicts and small wars, the hardpower paradigm keeps on the show, by the neo-realistic international security dilema between the most hegemonic countries, but with a non-total war advantage, but with small proxies as send of mercenaries to face national armies, and fight alongside rural and urban militias.

Military riots have a part at the supporting character for the conflict, where many officers regreted and denounced the government as dictator, and the decline of Maduro at his ethical behaviors, showed that, even in legality, Maduro has no legitimacy of the majority, but has the ballance of power by his side.

Venezuela: Russia urges US to abandon ‘irresponsible’ plan to topple Maduro

Secretary of state meanwhile slammed Russian meddling in the country: ‘We don’t want anyone messing around with Venezuela’

Washington and Moscow traded barbs over Venezuela on Sunday, with Russia’s foreign minister urging the United States to abandon its “irresponsible” plan to depose Nicolás Maduro and his US counterpart slamming Russian meddling in the South American country.

Sergei Lavrov made the comments during a visit to Moscow by Venezuela’s foreign minister, Jorge Arreaza – an apparent bid to stress international support for Maduro following last week’s abortive uprising against him in Caracas.

“Attempts to stage a violent upheaval in Caracas have nothing to do with democratic process, and only disrupt any prospects of political settlement,” Lavrov said, according to the Moscow-backed broadcaster RT.

Any US attempt to topple Maduro through force would bring “grave consequences”, Lavrov reportedly warned.

Earlier, the US secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, urged Russia – which, alongside China, is one of Maduro’s two key international backers – to stop interfering in Venezuela.

“We want [Venezuela] to be an autonomous, independent sovereign state, with democratic elected officials. This is what we desire for the Venezuelan people,” Pompeo, who is due to meet Lavrov in Finland on Monday, told Fox News.

“We don’t want anyone messing around with Venezuela.”

The exchange came after Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin held a 90-minute phone call on Friday, after which Trump claimed Putin was “not looking at all to get involved in Venezuela, other than he’d like to see something positive happen”.

Five days after Tuesday’s dramatic pre-dawn attempt to remove Maduro, an uneasy calm has returned to the streets of Venezuela’s capital.

The only reminders of the failed revolt are stretches of scorched asphalt outside La Carlota airbase beside which it began and a handful of graffitied messages left by protesters on a nearby overpass. “Freedom! Freedom! No more bullets!” reads one.

On Saturday, Venezuela’s opposition held a series of anti-Maduro protests designed to maintain the pressure. But attendance was far short of the massive demonstrations held since Juan Guaidó – the man most western governments now recognize as Venezuela’s legitimate interim president – launched his US-backed challenge to Maduro in January.

Sol Castro, a retired university professor who attended one protest in west Caracas, said she feared the solution to Venezuela’s crisis increasingly appeared to lie in foreign hands.

“[It feels like] we may be approaching an end … but [also] that we’re only pawns in a larger game where superpowers, or former superpowers, or superpower wannabes will decide when and how this ends,” Castro said.

Russia Supports Venezuela, Tells US: Stop Meddling in Dialogue

Russian Press Director cautions, "external pressure can sow mutual distrust and hinders progress," of the Oslo talks between Maduro's government and opposition.

Russian Press and Information Director Maria Zakharova says governments of the world, particularly the United States, need to stay out of Venezuela’s internal affairs and attempting to sidetrack peace talks.

Zakharova's comments come as dialogues between the Venezuelan government and main opposition continue talks in Barbados, mediated primarily by the Norwegian government.

"Russia cautions against any comments or external influences that try to sidetrack the course and objectives of the talks between the legitimate Venezuelan government and opposition members,” said the press director of the foreign ministry department.

She explained that "an external pressure on the negotiating process will not accelerate it," on the contrary, it will stall it because "it sows distrust between the parties," Zakharova said in a Thursday press conference.

The Russian spokeswoman was referring to continual attempts by the U.S. administration under Donald Trump to interfere in dialogues and negotiations between Maduro representatives and the opposition. Additionally, Trump's application of violent economic sanctions, biased exceptions granted to the Venezuelan right and support for main opposition lawmaker, Juan Guaido who declared himself interim president last January with Washington’s help, were also mentioned. Earlier Thursday, it was reported that U.S. military aircraft entered the Maiquetia airspace area, near Caracas.

Guiado has since tried, and failed, to overthrow the Maduro government at least twice since then.

"This line of the U.S. and its allies could … worsen domestic politics with consequences difficult to predict," for Venezuela, she added.

On the other hand, Zakharova stressed that her government extends its full support for conflict resolution in Venezuela using multilateral tactics.

"We fully support multilateral efforts to find the best ways for both parties to resolve the situation in the country," Zakharova said on behalf of Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his cabinet continue to stand behind President Maduro. Last week at the BRICS Foreign Affairs meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov reiterated his country's support for the ‘Oslo negotiations’ that are sometimes held in Barbados.

"We have reaffirmed our support for the process in Oslo, a process started with the support of Norway, between the opposition and the government of [Nicolas] Maduro," Lavrov stated. "The Oslo process is underway with the participation of the main protagonists and we will support any agreement they achieve," added the foreign minister.
