New Proxies - Libya - Mercenarism and a new hybrid operational scenario
According to the UK's The Sun, the report alleging that Russia is trying to turn Libya into a "new Syria" is causing speculations over the world about how Russia will advante to the East and to the Europe, as Russia always had interest on the African countries for the geopolitical positions.
According to the UK news it's not still the scenario to call it 'new Syria' but it wouldn't hurt if it's done. This allegations were given to unamed officials of UK intelligence.
The Libya's been the center and front of the news about Russia last weeks, since the country was in a legacy of a state collapse in 2011. Instead the attention to the intern problems and the militia violence in capital of Tripoli, the news turned to the Russia's covert operations deployment of its military to Tobruk and Benghazi under the controversal name of ChVK Wagner's mercenaries. Also, Moscow dispatched Kalibr cruise missiles and the S-300 anti aircraft systems to support Halifa Khaftar, the leader of the internationally unreconized "Libyan National Army" and the most powerful of Libya's Warlords.
The objective is to establish a naval base that allow Russia to weaponize the country and blackmail Europe, and interfere in the sub-Saharan immigration to the European East.
The Center of the Russia's Geostrategic balancing of power acting in African-Eurasia has extended to Libya and taken into an indirect military manifestation, promoting the place to a new proxy of Russia and the East and Europe, promoting a projection of Russia in North of Africa and influencing part of the region, primaly whole influenced by France and England. The
The problem is that England is trying to request the geostrategic previous position, but it's not like England can beat up with its highly Russophobic 'deep state'. The allegations that UK can front Russia and Wagner's mercenaries cannot be taken seriously just as The Sun's reports.
The blackmailing of Europe is promoted by a kind of psyops plan promoting "Weapons of Mass Migration" and the phenomena is requesting the migration to the democratic countries, not to the anti-Globalist "new Axis", and those who promote the global NGOs. This promotion started previously with the Turkish President Erdogan and the Liberal-Globalists, not Russia, or Hungary for exemple.
Russia previously was involved into anti-Terrorist operations in Libya, which is the start of the arms shipments to Haftar's forces, and actualy the fail of the UN-reconized the so-called "Government of National Accord" to function as a govern to the country in any effective capacity that Haftar's and Russia got more respect to promote the order.
"Government of National Accord" also requested the UN intervention allegating mass killing in Tripoli, so The Sun and other UK and NATO media alieds promoted a serious discussion assembling another Western-led 'coalition of the willing' urgent to fail the Russia's plans.
The pro-Haftar's regime position can have similarities to the pro-Assad's but it's not as simple because of the geographic position still and the clash between UK and NATO is not so imminent as the clash between the actors in Syria operating directly.
Now the will of the hybrid promotion is involving the mercenaries and the small warfare and the peacekeeping groups of UN, in a scenario where the UK and NATO were promoting government and still not reconizing the international actors acting. As in Syria, groups like Al Qaeda can be used as mercenaries to promote the stop of the Russian advancement.
And as NATO and UK army is in front of the restore of peace, the possible clash of Russians and UK army can happen, but hardly at it's scenario. The infiltration of terrorists has beem always a problem as they infiltrate in Europe with the pretention of the "regfugees crisis" of "economic migrants" promotion by the globalist NGOs that promotes this migrant position and pacifists government and soften the legislation. Appering to the national security subjects of priority, the cross-Mediterranean human trafficking operations has becoming a problem as the migration became a pariah in Europe, and the public security is working hard at it.
Russia planning to turn Libya into ‘new Syria’: UK intelligence

The UK intelligence agencies have reportedly warned Prime Minister Theresa May that Russia is sending weapons and troops to Libya in order to turn the North African country into a “new Syria,” an allegation that is likely to further muddy the waters between Moscow and London.
The Sun newspaper reported Monday that “dozens” of officers from the Russia’s GRU military intelligence service as well as its Special Forces wing, Spetznaz, had already been deployed to Libya upon Russian President Vladimir Putin’s order.
The tabloid newspaper claimed that seizing control of the biggest illegal immigration route to Europe was Moscow’s biggest objective.
The report further claimed that the Russian military was already operating two bases in Libya’s coastal towns of Tobruk and Benghazi under the cover of a Russian private military company called the Wagner Group.
Russia is also believed to have deployed batteries of its Kalibr anti-ship missiles and S-300 air defense systems on the ground in Libya, the report stated.
“What Putin is doing in Libya is straight out of his playbook for Syria,” one government source claimed, referring to Russia’s military campaign in support of the Syrian government against terrorist groups across the country.
The official went on to liken Russia’s practices to the 2014 re-integration of the Crimean Peninsula to Russia.
“It is a potentially catastrophic move to allow him to undermine Western democracy, but again we are doing nothing about it,” the source added.
The report caused uproar among members of the UK parliament, prompting senior MPs to call for government action.
“It’s is extremely alarming Russia wants to open up a new front against the West in Libya, but it should also come as no surprise,” Commons Foreign Affairs committee chairman Tom Tugendhat.
“We need a coordinated government response because the destabilization of a sub-Saharan country is intimately linked to UK national security,” he added.
Russian officials have agreed to meet with Libyan strongman General Khalifa Haftar in the past. However, the Kremlin denies allegations that it has forces on the ground in the country.
Haftar, who leads the Libyan National Army and is considered the de facto military ruler of much of Eastern Libya, was one of former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi’s senior commanders but later switched sides.
Libya has faced chaos since an uprising and a NATO military intervention resulted in the downfall of Gaddafi in 2011.
The oil-rich country has been grappling with insecurity and the emergence of numerous militant groups, including Daesh, since then.
Tensions are already running high between Britain and Russia.
London has taken an aggressive line with Moscow over the past months, accusing it of increased submarine activity near British waters, poisoning a former Russian double-agent and more importantly, carrying out regular hacking attacks against British infrastructure.
Russia has time and again denied the charges, dismissing them as “Russophobic hysteria” being spread by the West.

Russia is moving troops and missiles into Libya in a bid to enforce a new stranglehold on the West, Theresa May has been warned.
The Sun added that seizing control of the biggest illegal immigration route to Europe is seen as Moscow’s primary goal.
“The Sun can reveal that “dozens” of officers from the GRU military spy service as well as its Spetznaz special forces wing are already on the ground in eastern Libya to help Khalifa Haftar, initially carrying out training and liaison roles.” It said on Monday.
Two Russian military bases are already now up and running in the coastal towns of Tobruk and Benghazi, using the cover of the controversial Russian private military company the Wagner Group which already has outposts there.
Russia’s devastating Kalibr anti-ship missiles and state of the art S300 air defence missile systems are also now believed to be on the ground in Libya, according to The Sun.
