40 years of The Haters

The late 70's, more precisely 1979 following the social distopia and stablished to the noise sound, anti-music, scene and using the dacaying of society under the primitive destruction, Haters stablished itself as vanguardists artists like Merzbow, Maurizio Bianchi, The New Blockaders between others when GX Jupitter-Larsen pissed off with the mainstream punk scene. 

Noise as Whitehouse, Merzbow, and others was trying not to look audible but as a sociological transmission of decay, distopia and distortion of moral values and music. The Haters performances at first didn't involve use of sound at first, the music was secondary under the constant agressive participation of the public manifestating extreme violence throwing garbages in front of a VHS camera with a back sound inaudible.

The ideal for the anti-modernity - that movements of music were going through 80's, with heavy metal, the mainstream of punk and new visuals more than atitudes - and minimalism, GX Jupitter-Larsen used to be into underground culture of Cassete and Zine and anti-music noise - previously, in Punk Rock movement.

To be honest, the Haters used sound for the need of a stage curtain and to keep on the track time.

The Haters only started using sound in live performances because of two necessities. One, the need of a stage curtain, and two, the need to keep track of time, with a pre-recorded noise on tape, the audiente performed together with an abrupt end at the grand finale.

The performances consisted with Jupitter-Larsen and other performers, wearing masks and a personal style of wrestling figure with loud noise using machinery, with distortion and amplifications. Many of the CDs were recorded during these performances. The conception of Jupitter Larsen was aesthetic obssession for decay, with a viral agression that controls the whole involved to a social chaotic entropy, with nihilistic powers beyond the systemic comprehension of a misanderstood statement.

The effects was not to produce music, but a physical procession of crashing and cause viral chaotic behavior, involving everyone, causing destruction and social decay, an absurd concept of reverse the system to a natural chaos and act with forces against the moral and legal behavior, promoting a legal and statement iconoclast behavior.

Again with a new conceptual idea, The Haters did a new style of performance being the pioneering at it. In 90's the haters promoted a new form of amplification and with linear idea of progression. With the performance using less agressive behavior of the audience but with more louder at all and with more theatrical presentation.

Conception of the project is an avant guard product of the amoral system, social decay and the rebirth of the natural distopia and chaotic self-regulation above the decadence of morality.
